Turn of the Tides - Tangerine Dream
Into the Labyrinth - Dead Can Dance
Imagine - Eva Cassidy
This is the Life - Amy Macdonald
Smile - Brian Wilson

turning 'em into flacaroni now

Overall, a great string of new discoveries.

From new to old.

[southern rap] CunninLynguists - Dirty Acres - Great!  I loved A Piece of Strange and didn't like Southernunderground.  This is definitely moreso APOS.  Exceptionally well-produced.  I love Kno.
[icelandic post-rock?] Jonsi - Go - Great!  Holds my attention better than Sigur Ros but it's still beautiful.
[indie pop] Tilly and the Wall - Bottoms of Barrels - Great but not as great as Wild Like Children.
[autotuned singy rap] Drake - Thank Me Later - Surprisingly good.  The middle is sort of bad, but there's some strong tracks in here.  Definitely converted me from Drake hater to... Drake enjoyer.
[indie pop] Tilly and the Wall - Wild Like Children - Great!  Just extremely happy music.

Quote:
"The Suburbs" - Arcade Fire
"Goin' Back To New Orleans" - Dr. John
"Tribal" - Dr. John
"God Willin' & The Creek Don't Rise" - Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs

that looks an awful lot like my last purchases.  ; )
i listened to the new ray lamontagne album.  and it's great, but unfortunately bob ludwig brickwalled it.
distortion everywhere.
which is a shame, because it might just be his best since his debut.    : (
