I've just returned from my trip to Paris, where I visited the Virgin Megastore on Champs-Élysées several times. On my previous posts to this thread I've tried to limit myself to only naming five albums per post, but this time it's pretty much impossible, so I'll just name all the discs I find worth mentioning.

Ahmad Jamal - At the Pershing/But Not for Me [32-bit remaster]
Alice Cooper - School's Out [Audio Fidelity gold CD]
Berliner Philharmoniker & Claudio Abbado - Mahler: Symphony No. 9
Charles Mingus - The Great Concert of Charles Mingus [2 CDs]
Charlotte Gainsbourg - IRM [CD+DVD]
Curtis Mayfield - Curtis [Mobile Fidelity gold CD]
David Holland Quartet - Conference of the Birds
Devin Townsend - Terria
Diana Krall - Live in Paris
Dizzy Gillespie, Stan Getz & Sonny Stitt - For Musicians Only
Ella Fitzgerald - Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Rodgers and Hart Song Book [2 CDs]
The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin

Hans Zimmer & James Newton Howard - The Dark Knight Original Soundtrack
Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
James Horner - Avatar Original Soundtrack
Julia Fischer, Russian National Orchestra & Yakov Kreizberg - Tchaikovsky: Violin Concerto [hybrid SACD]
Keith Jarrett - Belonging
Keith Jarrett - The Carnegie Hall Concert [2 CDs]
Little Feat - Dixie Chicken [Mobile Fidelity gold CD]
Love - Forever Changes [remastered & expanded edition]
Martin O'Donnell & Michael Salvatori - Halo 3 ODST Original Soundtrack [2 CDs]
Nas - Illmatic
Owen Pallett - Heartland
Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain [deluxe edition double CD with 64 page booklet]

Sigur Rós - ( )
Sly & The Family Stone - There's a Riot Goin' On
Syd Barrett - The Madcap Laughs
Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden
Yardbirds - Roger the Engineer / Over Under Sideways Down [2 CDs, stereo & mono]
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Fever to Tell
Yoshihisa Hirano & Hideki TaniuchiDeath Note Original Soundtrack I
Yoshihisa Hirano & Hideki Taniuchi - Death Note Original Soundtrack II

In addition I bought one Blu-Ray (Dire Straights - Alchemy) and received a box set in the mail just one day before my trip to Paris (Louis Armstrong - Hot Fives and Sevens [4 CDs]).

I'm a fan of the Death Note anime, so finding the first two soundtracks was the best thing about my trip. After seeing the anime I think I tried to find out if the soundtrack had been released, but I must have done a very poor job, because I came up empty. It's also possible that I just forgot to search for the O.S.T. and just thought that I had searched for it online. Anyway, I just tried searching for it and found it with ease. There is a third O.S.T. so I just ordered it. While waiting for it to arrive I'll have to start ripping these CDs and scan their artwork... which might take me two weeks. Oh well...

If I feel motivated I might take a picture of the whole CD stack tomorrow and add it to this post.

Edit: Here's the picture.

Great stuff including the Death Note OST's. If you're interested in the third volume it features a lot of classical music.
