Hello.
 
My first post here.  
Long time lurker and after a long while, I decided to register to join the discussion for the MT220.
 
I've just gotten my new Yammies about a week ago, brand new in box.
Immediately I was impressed with these headphones. 
 
After about 4 days of non stop 24/7 burn-in, they are sounding really fantastic.
 
I would like to post pictures of my setup but since this is my first post, the board does not allow me
to insert images.
 
Anyone knows how to link an image from photobucket?

mt220 har ingen konkurrens i sitt prisklas, man får mycket ljud för pengar. Förmodligen en av dem bästa slutna lurar under 3000kr
 
Nästa steg är beyerdynamic t70p, men då få man betala lite mer ...
 
Hmmm , om du vill få ännu bättre ljud ur mt220 prova Hegel Super. Riktigt bra dac/amp combo med mogen välbalanserad ljud och stark dynamic! mt220 är 32ohms , så dem är lättdrivna.  Hegel Super kommer kunna driva dem utan problem.   Yamaha mt220 / Hegel Super  är en riktigt bra combo, tycker jag...

Jag hittar dock bara mt220 på ljudfokus.se i Sverige. 1590kr. Blir en fin present till mig själv i jul tror jag :)
 
Tack för tipset på Hegel Super! Kanske kan investera i en sådan i framtiden. Fungerar den med en smartphone eller är den bara till datorn?

Anyone want to take one for the team? I think they look great. Nice and clean! Preorder at this point but the price is ridiculous.

Looks like a decent price, i've requested a quote on shipping to australia, hopefully not too expensive. Still not sure if i like the looks of those round earcups, would have preferred they stayed with ovalish ones like the mt220 and i hope they're not like the ones on the pro500.

do tell when u got the quote....the 170 usd seems quite cheap for those ?
