Does anyone know if these have a similar sound signature to the EPH-30s?

Well I haven't heard the EPH-30, but I can safely say that the flagship EPH-100s are flagship for a reason.

Anything with a lower price is gonna be out classed.

I was just asking because I don't like the type of sound he EPH-30s have. I don't mean the quality, but the style. I'm sorta curious about the EPH-100s but if they have a similar type of sound then they wouldn't be for me.

Well Joker has rated both the eph-20 and eph-50 below the eph-100, so I imagine it would be the same for the eph-30.

Otherwise the eph-100 is in few word:
- quite extended bass
- a bit recessed in the highs
- very airy, nice imaging
- isolate well
- sturdy & lightweight

How are the mids?

Not recessed, maybe slightly forward.

The mids: enjoyable, but they do not particularly stand out.

I  think , it's more the overall presentation that make the eph-100 interesting , than a particular frequency range. Just think that they sound mostly fine out of the box, without eq hassle or burning bs.   A pleasing overall frequency balance, an open soundstage...
Even if they are not "perfect" , it's a bit a no-brainer for most people, they are easy to "understand" and appreciate.

now, for my next question: is this a warm or bright sounding iem?

That's a lot of questions lmao

Why don't you just buy a pair and try them out?

If you don't like the signature you could always sell them on.

These IEMs are getting harder and harder to get hold of.

I suppose it should be obvious, but that's exactly what they sounded like when I had them.

Well,  the graph doesn't tell the "whole story".
If you look at the frequency response of the popular hd25 II 1, it look much more irregular  (and still people rave about them).

I  think the eph-100 are tuned for "popular taste" , i.e some  bass emphasis, and some treble recession.
And despites this, it doesn't sound like a dark signature at all (weird isn't it ?).

I'd say it's a fairly balanced FR curve, except for a hump in the mid bass. Too bassy to be called bright, to crisp and clear to be called warm.

Yep, they sound just right.
