Like the others have said, most of the heat comes from the amp section not the DAC.
That looks messed up btw.

when I put my hand on the top back area (the dac underneath) of the xduoo XD-05 pro after a longer while listening it is very toasty warm. Have to pay attention to the front part (opamp section). when using heat paste it would be better having in form of strips which makes it also easier und less messy for removing.

You’re right. I checked this and the top section at the back gets quite warm. But the hottest seems to be the middle section ?

Congrats ! Yes it is amazing and it's one of the few feature complete audio gadgets.

Speaking of R2R - anyone has any update from Xduoo ?

Hi folks,
My.display showed this to me last week, and since then the front display is gone.

The player still can produce sound, and the volume dial display still works. But now I m like using the XD05PRO like a blind man.

Anybody has encountered this before?
Is Xudoo support my only option? I got my unit from Taobao direct.

Today is the day. My xd05pro only works in ext mode. Charge and batt modes do not work. In charge mode it behaves the same as in ext mode. Batt mode = 0. The battery was not discharged.

How do you think it is due to the disability xD05, which required continuous use of the rear switch if the power supply did not provide 12V permanently?

I don't think it's a switch issue, because my unit works mainly in stationary mode (with LPS). However, I cannot rule it out. I won't send it to the service center until tomorrow. Earlier I noticed that the battery also discharges in stationary mode. Not very significantly, but still. When I find out something, I will write.
