A few people have been asking for advice on what micro SD card to use.  I used a 128 GB Samsung card and it works fine.  I don't think the X3 is too picky.  But bear in mind that the X3 reads and writes to the card very slowly.  I guess it is a limitation of the X3's CPU.  Some people are saying they get long lag times, or even crashes, when the stock firmware scans the cards to update the X3's file library, which is annoying.  Another reason to Rockbox...no library to update, since it is a file browser interface.

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about getting the fastest SD card ever, because the speed bottleneck is not the card itself, but definitely the X3 as a card reader.  I have been meaning to buy a cheap external card reader to use when transferring lots of music, as I think many other X3 users do.  Transferring to micro SD via the X3 is slooooow.  Like maybe 20x slower than transferring to the HD in my iPod.  Oh, well.  The X3's sound quality makes up for it. :)

The X3 is ok, seems very slow to do everything, slow to turn on and big music files like Dj sets take seconds to start, even with rockbox. I have a 128gb Samsung Evo+ so the card is pretty fast.

The X3 seems to pair very well the Yamaha EPH-100 at least for Psychedelic Trance and EDM in general. The pairing would be incredible if the Yamaha had more Treble in the higher range I believe, a little more mids wouldn't hurt also but that's secondary. The Pairing would probably sound better than $600 "fun sounding" equipment.

Those two you mentioned are not good ones, too wide and Xduoo can easily slip off.

You can try this black one, they also have brown color lot.
