Still no word from xDuoo or folks that know folks about the status of firmware v1.2?

Me yesterday in Facebook responded to my question on 8 February !!! that still do not know when will the new firmware . XVortex wrote on the forum that the problem of slowing down still because of bugs in the firmware , but without sources it cannot fix it . I must admit that in xDuoo programmers / programmer with low skills .

Farsh,

Where is this comment/post by Xvortex?  It's not in the Rockbox new port forum.

Thanks!

Google translation:

"Having dealt in the player and CPU architecture, I confidently state that the error rate of 44100 pure play software, and can be reduced to -0,006% (currently ~ 1.3%). However, it all depends on the current software implementation in the core firmware. If there zahardkozhena frequency is not on the modules, it is not something that the patch, even if there is redo source is not immediately released. In rokbokse I immediately I will consider this nuance and laid frequency switching flexibility.

P.S. one more thing - in the DSD player is not a native, but through conversion to the PCM. Although the CS4398 has a DSD input at X3 he did not involved. Uzhos. And now with this live?"

My replacement has reached the middle point. It's now in the sorting phase of the middle-man, so should be here in a week or two. Com'on devs, release that new firmware before I get my replacement! Where do I go and cheer them on?

Does anyone know where I can get the 1.1 firmware?  I tried downloading it from the xDuoo site, but the .rar file gives me an "unexpected end of archive" error every time.

Only place I know is the official xDuoo site.  I just downloaded the v1.1 file again, tested it with 7-Zip, and then unpacked it, all without any problem.  So I suspect you have an issue at your end.

Are you following these instructions EXACTLY?  Note when they say compression file they mean the zip file you get after unpacking the rar download.

Try player.ru, use chrome it translates the text, i found it there i believe, the Xduoo is horrible to download from, after it starts downloading at a decent rate it, it falls dramatically, and i never got a file that wasn't corrupted, so google searched and came across the site.

I was unable to download from xduoo.com via Verizon FIOS or at work (Verizon & AT&T links).  I finally was able download the firmware on my Sprint cell phone.

I wouldn't recommend downloading off third-party sites. The risk of virus, etc. is not worth it imo.
