M3 is a bargain.... I'm sure X2 is as well, the 3 versions and hardware issues put me off buying an X2 online and the armband for M3 was also a clincher. I only had reservations over whether it would drive my headphones and it does it heartily on 1/3 of volume. Very impressed!

Just tried my Beyerdynamic t51p and same result....it runs plenty loud at 1/3 volume.

Right so i had my 64gb card formatted at FAT32 but i was getting lots of jittering problems so tried EXFAT which has solved the jittering problem. However now going into some albums files to play all the track names are their but when i go to play a song it says no file then starts playing a hard days night by the beatles the same song everytime! Is this the tagging problem that keeps getting mentioned?

it maybe that you are exceeding the 100 folder limit on the X2. how many folders are there on the card? ... unfortunately this limit may make larger capacity SD cards redundant ( depending on what size files you have on them ) ... you may need to spread the content over a number of cards for the files to be read :-/

I found that the jitters are caused by trying to play a high bit rate song.  That also causes the very slow effect.

I'm confused! Is there any sound diff between 6.0 and 6.1  that anyone notice? 
 
I just noticed that the X2 that I recently received as warranty replacement is running 6.0
