Installed V7.0 ni my X2 today and did some extensive testing. My report would contradict with previous reports. I found no change in SQ. It hasn't improved, but hasn't worsened for sure.

Maybe it was only on the "beta" release of the V7?

They both have the same size, so i would say no.

Just installed the official over the leaked, I don't think there was any difference.

Hi everybody.I'm new on the forum but I follow the thread for long time.
I noticed sq goes down with v7. More specific loss of depth in bass freq. and a different way to perceive the mix of the instruments..i mean it sounds more confused.
Do you agree?

Yes it has been brought up. You can downgrade the FW.

It depends on the headphones - on some I hear the difference (Macaw GT100s), on others don't (Takstar Hi-1200). On Custom Art Pro330 and Phonak Audeo I noticed little less bass, but it's not like that SQ goes down. It's just have less bass.
Why on some earphones there is difference, and on the other doesn't? I have no idea.
