I used the MT-604 with Focal Utopia (but I had to use a Topping A90 as a pre to control volume). The synergy was surprisingly wonderful. I only replaced it with a DSHA-3FN, which is specifically designed for Focal.
You are in for a treat. So far, it has become my main amp. I'm waiting for the Ray tubes from Apos and some rectifier tubes from Brent Jesse. It pairs extremely well with literally all my gear. I can 100000% vouch for this amp for the Aeolus, the Aryas (stealth), Venus and even with IEMs. Definitely enjoying this amp a lot more than I do the Burson Soloist 3xp with the supercharger.

Not good. Have to wait at least two more weeks for delivery. I want it, noooow.
More time to order some more tubes.
Already „Found“ some Psvane 12AU7, JJ ECC802 gold pin and a couple of TAD in my storage
And some Russian OTK rectifier from the 60-70s.

My HE-6 works nice with Solaris/ Liquid Fire (both Hybrids), not so good with the Little Dot
(Tube).
TA-20 will be a good match and i hope most for all my IEMs.
Have to find all my 12AU7 now. Will start with some Psvane.
Question for those of you experienced with both smaller and larger tube amps.
I'm considering upgrading from my MT-602 w/ GE Jan 5654w tubes to the new TA-20 plus. MT-602 puts out 1300 mW and drives both my denon ah-d9200 and hifiman he-1000 stealth wonderfully.
Just wondering if I will get substantial sonic improvement (dynamism, clarity, staging, etc.) or not.

Yes and yes. Expensive does not necessarily mean better. Inexpensive can be a poorly designed product but can also be very good, i.e. Xduoo. The tube is the 'real' amplifier. The type of tube can greatly influence the 'sound' and there are good, bad and ugly tubes within a tube family. One of my amps is well-made and Inexpensive. It's a headphone/pre-amp made for tubes in the 6dj8/6922....With adapters, tubes in different families can be used, so 2c51/396a, 6sn7 or 12a*7 take turns in the amp. Some tubes are meh, some shine.
