I don’t have children, but I guess the arrival of the Woo 5LE was the closest thing to having a baby show up?
I don't have any either, which is why I can have one in the first place :)

You must be 5 feet off the ground!

Congratulations! You'll probably never come down.
I'm fighting off my Ambien's desire to knock me unconscious. Unfortunately, it's winning....zzzzzzzzzzz

Another shot of C3G without metal housing. I saw pics of someone removed them and looked better. Acquired a few cuts and bleeding but worth it. Used good old flat screw driver to bend the lip. Only strange thing about the tube is you have a left and right adapter. If you put them in opposite no sound.

The PSvane hifi 300b sounds full body but notice sibilant treble which maybe do to the c3g. It was sibilant but not painful with Hifiman Edition XS. LCD2 seemed good. Would break out 1266 but sick so don’t want that on my head. I believe c3g would fit with eml 300b mesh. That’s super quicksand tube where the c3g would speed it up.

As an FYI, the Sophia Princess 300B's are EXTREMELY microphonic! Listening to them just heat up is like listening to wind chimes. Any tiny vibration causes them to sound like someone's dropping the good china...China...hmmm.....

They are pretty, though.

If they last... I had no less than 5 separate pairs blow up within 100 hours with a light show, putting my WA5 at risk. Have ran 300Bs from many other brands with zero problems. Never had an issue with other tubes from Sophia like the 274Bs.

That's good to know. I've got a new set of KR Audio Riccardo Kron Anniversary Editions coming (300B and 5U4G) to replace the Sophias. Then I'll order my Emission Labs 300B's, when who knows from there...

I had Sophia 274B and the base came off without damaging the leads coming from the sealed glass. Woo had to solder the tube back and reglue it.

c3g and 7n7 are really my favorite. I read some posts all over the net stating 6sn7 isn't a great tube for the 300B. I'll say the c3g you hear that claim.

Does Woo still sell the c3g adapter?

yes, they are not cheap and build is a week
I wouldn't exactly say any of Woo's adapters are cheap, but they are good quality and should last forever.
