well do not laugh guys,but i have money only to buy re 262, i have clip+ as source, so do not want to buy new amp.but i have fiio e5 already,Will re262 benefit from e5.will clip plus be able to drive them ? View

Unfortunately I doubt you will get the best out of the RE262. However the RE262 sounds OK out of a portable source and it is certainly very listenable but you will either need a much more powerful source like an SFlo 2 or Hifiman H601 DAP or you need a much better amp like the Ibasso T3 to get the best out of the RE262.

Get the RE262 first. With Clip+, you should still get a very good performance out of RE262.

I agree, its sounds really good imo. anyway everybody should have a clip considering the price and portability

I have a pair of both RE-252 and RE-262
 
While the 262 sounds a bit uneven with the J3 imo and i end up using the 252 almos all the time , the synergy between the 262 and the clip+ is very nice.
 
Plus you don't need an amp for the 262/clip+ , unless you are deaf.
