Hello,

A friend will sell me soon his "new" BeyerDynamic DT880 600Ohm. Unlike him im not often at home for the moment so i need a portable amp. I know this headphone need some power to be driven properly and  I do not really know which one to take...
Source : Mobile / Audio-Flac player/ Computer  I Middle of the next year i will buy a good Hi-Fi configuration for my home.
Budget : Around 400-450 euros max > 550$ max. (less would be nice...)

- First ive thinked to the E17 Fiio, but i guess is not enought powerfull..?
- Maybe the Ibasso Pb2 ? I read that is enought powerfull but the association of the two was not so good.
- P-51 Mustang ? AE-2 Portable headphome ? Others ?

If you have any clues for help me to make a good choice, or if you can recommend a model to me. It would be cool and helpfull.
Sorry for my English,

Thanks,

Sebastien.

The O2 look good.. for a great price. But its more transportable than really portable... i keep it in mind. Some people tell me that the Headstage amp can do the job.
What do you think of this configuration :
Android smartphone> odac> headstage > dtt880 ?
Maybe a dac-cable??

Thanks.

Most cell phones (smart phones), can not connect to an external DAC.
I believe smart phones will not drive (power) a USB DAC anyway.
And their USB connection is usually used to transfer audio files, not to play audio files.

It looks like your using an add-on device to be able to connect between the S2 cell phone and the DAC.
Something you can't really use until your sitting down somewhere.

Ok, i dont want to listen my music in the street with theses headphones, its only for indoors like at my job, hotel rooms, travels...regarding the isolation maybe in the train. If the combination Android device+ODAC+headstage can drive the dt880 600 it would be great ! :)
