Ear Pads were due an overhaul.
Plus MMCX Connectors are out. Connection went bad.
Going to do a complete recable but I think I'm going to hard wire these as they were originally.
Slamming away with Dx200, the craziest details and brightest headphones I have had by far. It is best to enjoy it in super low volume, but then the bass may leave my heart to desire more. I probably need an excellent good amp for it

I hope I didn't necropost on this thread! I'd just like to share a recent find that I got brand new for only USD120:
Utterly mesmerized by the SA3000's sound. Very much different compared to what Sony has released in the past five (5) years or so. Makes you also wonder what happened to Sony in the ensuing years as far as headphone tuning is concerned.
