Ended up ordering the pair of 770 pro 250ohms, to compare to my 770 80 ohms.
 
Reading about it seems they have less clamp than the 80 ohms, and less overpowering bass which are my two caveats atm. Hopefully a fiio e10 is more than enough to power the 250ohm version, as long as the bass doesn't drown out the rest of the sound and there is less clamp, I will keep them and send back the 80 ohm version.
If they are just the exact same headphones except harder to drive they will both go back and I will have to go with open cans.

Lucky man. My favourite headphones. I even thought them better than the legendary Orpheus. Really work wonderfully with the matching DAC/Amp.

 
Yeah, they are wonderful, I was fortunate enough to borrow them for about a month around this time last year and absolutely loved how they sounded out of my Audio-GD Reference 10.
