I have a very small budget, having picked up the headphones for cheap used. The most I would be willing to spend is £100 (GBP)

Will be using it at my desk only, so it being portable is not a requirement

There are a lot of options around this price range (I have looked at the dac destroyer, Audinst and a few others) but these headphones have been my only experience of good audio equipment and I don't know what I am looking at.

With the low impedance, I don't even know whether I need an amp.

The FiiO E10 might be worth considering, and should be within (in fact below at less than $100) your budget.

Fiio E10, USB-DAC-Headphone amplifier, here in the the US it sells for $64 (40GBP).
