Hi everyone,
 
Been using this forum for a while now for research so I thought I would join up and see if I could get some advice. I currently have an iPod Video 30GB 5G which I've been using with an iBasso Line Out Dock and a Fiio E5 Amp and the Hifiman RE0 headphones for a while. I would like to get my first pair of big circumaural closed back headphones to go with this setup if I can for a reasonable price, something around £60 / $90 if I can. Sound-wise I've been happy with the RE0, if a little low on bass, so if they would sound as good as this (maybe with a bit more bass) then I would be more than happy. I don't have much opportunity to try them on anywhere so people's opinions on comfort and fit would be appreciated as well.

I like quite a wide range really, trance, rock, indie/alternative, a bit of folk and classical soundtracks come to mind. That's really why I like to try and go for a fairly balanced sound.

Have been looking at the Sennheiser HD438 / 448 or possibly the Audio Technica ATH-M50, would these be a good choice for what I am using them with?
