I have read reviews from 2007 for the A1 when it was $1,300.  They were pretty good.  However, it currently sells for far less.  Is this the same design/product?

I got a RPX-33 and so far it is making my T1 and EM3 Pro shine!  I am hearing them both like never before.  I bought a RPX-33 to use with the T1 and the LCD-2 very soon and expected an improvement with the T1.  But the improvement with the EM3 Pro is also amazing, more of an improvement than the SM3 I have.
 
Thank you all for your suggestions, though.  A big part of my purchase choice came down to form factor, what my head-fi friends told me, and reputation here and in Stereophile and other reviews.
