I have been quite interested in getting into the sound of orthodynamic headphones and head-fi. At one point I was seriously considering the Audeze LCD-2, but considering I am a college student and the price tag of $950, that is just not an option for me. The Fostex T50RP looks like a great place to start with orthos and with modding (also something I have been interested in). Problem is finding the headphones. There is currently a set on amazon, but there is only 1 in stock and it is going for $120. I should be able to get the headphone for around $75 correct? If so, where can I get these that I am for some reason missing?

I just got some off Amazon when they came back in stock for $119 this week.
 
I'll be selling mine soon, by the way, so if you're interested, I'll sell it for lower than what I paid instead of returning it, in the interest of simply getting another T50RP out into the community.

I wouldn't think so, full compass is a reputable store, I imagine they're just returns or something.  But you could always call them to figure out what restock means, they don't say.  They are in stock though.

I want to buy one myself even though I don't really like the T20v2 and so I probably wouldn't like this either.  In stock form at least.  The might thunderpants are a different story.
