How much can you get the HD 25 II for? I have both the HD 25 II and the HD 380. The HD 25 is superior in every way except for comfort.
They are just so much more accurate and detailed. I actually find them almost as good as my HD 600, that says something.
They aren't the DJ-headphone of choice for nothing you know :)

As far as i know the HD 25-1 II isn't available anymore and has been "replaced" by the HD 25 II. Not that it matters much though because as far as i know the only difference is the cable connector, which is straight on the HD 25 II's and curved on the HD 25-1 II

I guess Sennheiser finally realized the name HD 25-1 II doesn't make sense.

I don't think you guys are actually helping him out. He's on a tight budget and wants DJ headphones. No Grado, HD555, HD595 etc.

For your budget I suggest (in order of price and sq, lowest to highest) the AKG K518DJ, Sony MDR-V6, Shure SRH440, Audio Technica ATH-M50, Shure SRH840 or Sennheiser HD25 II.

Wildcard goes to Fischer Audio FA-004. ($70) It's SQ is between the K518DJ and ATH-M50.

The difference of price begins right from the start, I can find the AKG K518DJ for 42£, the Sony MDR-V6 110£ and it goes up and up. The question that appears from now on: Are the AKG K518DJs better than the HD380, they're cheaper so they could be worst or the difference of price should only help me on this one?

Yeah, it doesn't make any sense, HD 26 is much easier.

V6 is being sold on Amazon for ~60GBP.... Get HD25 if you're serious about DJing.
