I haven't been to a ton of shows since I'm not big on the live circuit, but here's who I've seen:

Devin Townsend Band, Dark Tranquillity, Opeth, Keep of Kalessin, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, Valient Thorr, Baroness, Mastodon, Corpus Christi, Year of Desolation, Woe of Tyrants... and some others. Not to mention all of the local shows I played back in the day.

And I'll be going to see Baroness for the second at the end of the month when they play with Deftones. Pretty excited. I may also be going to see Swallow the Sun and Katatonia in October.

Saw Bela Fleck, Edgar Meyer and Zakir Jussain last Thurs, and Rodrigo Y Gabriela at Red Rocks on Friday. Both shows were amazing. Rod Gab brought out a few special guests for their performance making it a very special night. Shenkar played with them for a few songs, and Zack de la Rocha gave a moving speech followed up with a tune. Then they brought out Al Di Meola, who played a few songs solo and then all three played for a while as well. He was amazing, and hearing him live for the first time was a definite treat.

Went to hear the Dukes of September Rhythm Revue last night at the NC Music Factory Amphitheater in Charlotte. Donald Fagan, Micheal McDonald & Boz Scaggs. They did their hits and threw in a few covers, Ray Charles, Grateful Dead, Beach Boys, O'Jays...etc. Great backup band, 3 brass, guitar, bass, percussion, keyboard and 2 backup singers, Carolyn Escoffery and Catherine Russell who both did solos. If you have an opportunity to see this 2+ hour show, do it, they really rocked the audience.

I haven't been to many... maybe three unless I am forgetting any.

Coldplay @ The Shoreline

Cage the Elephant @ eerrrrrmmmm uhhhhhh Maybe the Greek Theater? I don't quite remember.

Snow Patrol @ The Fox in Berkeley

I am seeing Weezer in their Memories tour On the 29th, Can't wait.

Whenever The Who decides to tour around here, if that EVER happens, I will go. No matter the cost, no matter what I have to do.

So jealous of Necrophagist. I missed their only ever tour to Australia as I was overseas at the time..

Best two shows I've ever seen like was Sigur Ros and Jonsi's solo tour. Misery Signals would probably be 3rd.

I saw Natalie MacMaster last night at the Knight Theater in Charlotte. The concert was titled Christmas in Cape Breton after her home in Nova Scotia. Great music that literally had people dancing in the Isles.
