Am I only the only one on this board who has never been to a live concert?

dont worry, my g/f hasnt seen them either. apparently you guys must get a lot of grief for not having seen those movies....

I've only been to a few concerts, most within the last year or two, and mostly multi-act tours

Had tickets to see Harry Chapin but he cancelled then died a few months later. Also, Vladimir Horowitz asked me if I wanted to watch his concert at Massey Hall from backstage, but was too stupid to take advantage of it....didn't realize who he was at the time.

Downright amazing. This was around the time of "Blast of Silence". Syd Straw was the vocalist at that point. Bernie Worrell was on keyboard, Anton Fier on drums (of course), and more guitars than anyone knew what to with (Jody Harris, Peter Blegvad, and Nicky Skopelitis). Either Matthew Sweet or Robert Kidney played bass (can't remember), and the other was the fourth guitar player. Syd Straw was actually able to stay on top of that barrage of guitars, which was stunning.
