What is better than Bose?

I figured you were, so I chose to go offensive back. You seem to joke alot. When I'm tired, I'm serious, especially doing my math and Chinese homework @ 11... Plus the election. My teachers are old hags. One's way past "the expiration date" no offense to any 90 year-old head-fi'ers

I started reading this thing for larfs while watching the election, now I'm trying to figure out who's pulling who's leg.
Remember people, sarcasm doesn't read!
And to actually add to the thread, just got my RX700's and I can honesctly say tat they trounce any bose I've tried. But to be candid, I've never truly auditioned them at home, only in stores, and I assume they have optimal set ups with forgiving source matter.
Take that with a grain of salt.
And yes, Ath A900's are great alternatives as well.

That's Kirosia pulling your leg.

And it's not actually your leg that he's pulling.

You could do the same by Mentioning "Burn-In Evidence" in the title.

Also forgot to mention SR-60's are a notch above. I would recommend SR 80 and a decent amp. Save whatever is left and put it towards a source after you get some Christmas cash. Just a thought.

Now that is sarcasm.

Oh and sarcasm gets you killed in my country (Malaysia).

That's why it's hard for me to tell what's sarcasm and what's not unless it's very obvious like the quote above.

The thing about this Benaiir... There's something called the search function at the top right which most newcomers don't use.

There are four pairs on Audiogon right now. Three at $225 and one at $220. One of them might bite if you offered $200.

You can get the K-601 for $202 at Amazon:

Amazon.com: AKG Open-Back Studio Headphones - K601: Electronics

I'd sell off a few DVDs or video game cartridges and go for the K-701. It's a little fussy about amplification, but has a lot of potential.

I thought the wet diaper thing was funny, but you need to add something informative, or you really are bringing down the value of the thread.

Oh man, I would call trollism if I didnt see the join date. I suppose I don't need to recommend much since a lot has been covered, but trust me young 'fier, explore and you will find much better for much cheaper!

Better than bose? Just about any headphones within the price range named.

about the same as bose (sound quality)? I'd say the last pair I killed, Sony MDR V250. $20 on amazon. I cannot say they were bad headphones at the cost, but I certainly wouldn't call them good. For durability and bang for the buck, they walk up and down Triports.
That being said, $20 is about all I consider bose headphones to be worth. Paying any more than that is a crime

Do yourself a favour. Don't buy bose. Don't even consider buying bose. I'm sure you know what bose stands for: Buy Other Sound Equipment.

Get yourself some KSC-75's instead
