Hi folks,

A few of us at Brandeis University have decided to get together on November 13th from 6pm-10pm in the Vertica Lounge. That's in the Volen building, near Gzang, across from Sherman. There's a chance we might be in Volen 101, which is right next to the Vertica Lounge. Look for all the headphone gear.

Brandeis University only allows us to use university space for meetings of Brandeis students or other enrolled college students at the following universities:

Babson College
Bentley University
Boston College
Boston University
Brandeis University
Emerson College
Harvard University
Lasell College
Lesley University
Longy School of Music (Bard College)
MIT
Northeastern University
Quincy College
Simmons College
Suffolk University
Tufts University
UMass Boston

Sadly, if you don't attend one of these schools (as an undergraduate or graduate student), we can't sponsor you at Brandeis. It's a dumb policy, but there's nothing I can do about it as a student myself. If you aren't a college student, I hope to see you in Nashua in December!

I just thought I'd post here in case there were any Head-Fi'ers at Brandeis whom I didn't know personally. Come join us!

Reply here or PM me if you are interested so we can get a headcount. Brandeis runs a bus from MIT and Harvard on Fridays that is free, and we are very close to the commuter rail.

Thanks,

Ryan

I had incorrectly previously stated that Brandeis would only allow other Brandeis students to attend. I've updated the first post to reflect this error.

Heeeey I go to Boston University! Is it for next year or in a few weeks? I can definitely do a few weeks because it's the one weekend I'm free before the NH meet. I also kind of wanted to visit Brandeis anyway to meet up with friends.

There's also a shuttle for us which is super accessible to NEU/other students if they hop onto the BU shuttle and they get off the Danielsen stop. I'd probably bring the same friends I'm bringing to Nashua.

Yep, 2015. Come on down! The building can be a little tricky to find so I'll post a map soon.

I'll be heading to Nashua as well!

Does anyone actually want me to bring my EHHA/Theta combo? It'll be the difference between a backpack and a carry-on bag. I don't particularly mind especially if someone wants to compare D/S to R2R but y'know convenience.

I'd say just bring the backpack if you are going to Nashua too. This Friday is going to be pretty laid back / short. Might not be worth hauling.

I want to hear it, but I might be the only one. And I'll be at Nashua.

Bad news--my hard drive with all my music died. I have some music in my laptop but not much since I just got it a few weeks ago and didn't think to put music in it.

I have some music in my laptop now which I'm bringing anyway so I don't have nothing but I may want to share music

Sorry guys, some emergency meetings came up last minute so I won't be able to go. I hope to see you guys in Nashua! (Also I'm still wondering if anyone wants to carpool to make the car rental cheaper)

We had a great time! There probably weren't enough people there to justify an impressions thread, so I'll just post some pictures here. I hope some more Boston-area college students will join us next time!
