Sony EX70. I stumbled upon them in an airport and bought them because the Discman's stock buds hurt my ears.

Started off with some POS Jensen headphones which snapped in the middle of the headband, then I decided to get some better headphones, leading me to find the Sennheiser eH150's, followed shortly by finding headfi, giving my brother the 150's and getting the HD 555's and a pair of Shure e3c's. ahh, I love life now.

Koss r80.

I had a blast with them for about 4 years, even bought them 3 times. One day my ears just outgrew their sound, and I looked elsewhere(and bounced onto head-fi

stated out with stock ibuds, but they hurt my ears, and just wouldnt fit right. After doing some research in the former ipodlounge.com, i decided on getting the ex-71, then the Senn px-200.

then i found THIS site, which thumbed its nose down on these two much-receommended earphones. My world shattered.

So i brought myself together, bit the bullet and bought a grado sr-60, and enjoyed myself soooo immensely i am now currently planning my next purchae....hmmm...dt880s or d2000s.......a looooong way from the ibuds, heh

I actually started out with the same panasonic earbuds as the OP. then shure e2c, and then a friend recommended that I get some grado sr-60's. I had never heard of them before so I did a google search, which leaded to my discovery of head-fi.

For many years I was using Sennheiser HD25-1 that I accuired when a local radio station went down and sold off their equipment. I used them straight out of the source. Then about 5 years ago I read an article i british HIFI News by Ken Kessler where he described the original Airhead amp and ETY ER4 iem's and I was hooked. It has been VERY expensive since them especially since I found head-fi 2½ years ago.
