Sony MDR-V700DJ. Yuck! Uncomfortable, bloated, muddy, and fatiguing. I can't believe I stayed with them for so long before researching for something better--thus landing me here.
I had a pair of shure e2c and bose triports that broke. I found this place while looking for replacements for the triports. I hate to think what else I would have spent my money on if it wasn't for Head-Fi.
Whatever the $100 Sony DJ cans that you get in Best Buy for like $120...And I must say Iw as kinda disappointed because Iw as expecting huge bass from $120 cans....god, what I dolt I was, lol.
I was using Sony MDR-EX71 and Sennheiser MX400, but was never completely happy with them. I'm glad I started doing some research and stumbled upon this place instead of picking up something arbitrary from Bose.

Heres a very interesting read for those members (like me) who got into music listening with Walkman cassette players in the early 80s. There are some interesting parallels between the Sony walkman and todays apple iPod... particularly in their early marketing strategies and target consumers.
