I was just thinking about how I can't believe the trash I used to listen on a while back. WOW. It just amazes me that I even got by... The ones I used most often were some panasonic buds that at the time I thought were excellent in comparison to all my other options. Of course, one of the drivers would go dead on the majority of my purchases just after a short time.

AND I used these a lot (as well as $30-40 various sonys). I thought $40 was insane to drop on headphones. heh

Then I found out about px100's. I guess that was kind of my gateway drug into this world of headphones...

Yup, I borrowed those from a friend once and was amazed. At the time I thought they were top of the line and far too expensive as an option. (I didnt know about ebay or anything online)

It's kind of strange, but way before I discovered Head-Fi, I was using Grado HP1000 and K1000. Since Head-Fi, I have "downsized" to 'phones like AKG K701, Grado RS-1, Etymotic ER4, and now AKG K240 Sextett.

I was using a Senn 497 and saw an advertisement for the Bose. It was very expensive and I wanted to know a little bit more about them and why they can charge over £250 for them.

Thanks to google, my wallet have been $$$$$$ lighter

On the plus side, Head-Fi did stop me from ordering the Bose
