I never really listened to them in the 80's much, I fished that CD out of a box a buddy had, and gave a listen.
I forgot how noisy they were...

I watched that whole video waiting for Clapton to "fire up," but he never did. He just let Knopfler handle all of the leads. Nothing wrong with that, but I kept expecting Clapton to trade off on the leads at some point.  He never did though, he just kept to a rhythm guitar role throughout.
