I just saw a YouTuber review the new Steven Wilson remix of this, and he says it's like another album; he didn't like it that much when it first came out, but he said it sounds like a masterpiece with what Steven did with it. I take it this is the remix?

Revisiting some 90s acid trance from the excellent Noom label… years since I’ve heard these as most of my vinyl is stored away - delighted to find this compilation on Tidal.

- Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings -
“You are the eyes of the world”

is a translation of the noted Buddhist practitioner Longchenpa’s practical guide to the tantra.
The text’s relationship with Hunter’s lyricism is clear in that both are instructions for how to experience pure presence: a sensation commonly touted by Grateful Dead live concert attendees.

Right outside this lazy summer home
You ain't got time to call your soul a critic, no
Right outside the lazy gate of winter's summer home
Wondering where the nut-thatch winters
Wings a mile long just carried the bird away
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world
The heart has its beaches, its homeland and thoughts of its own
Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings
But the heart has its seasons, its evenings and songs of its own

A reincarnation of Michael Jackson, on steroids, along with band. Only Michael wished he had the talent this band possesses. These bands are all so in the pocket which gives them so much groove. Man, I'm a firm believer, when you have a killer bass player, they're the anchor the band and EVERY song. Even as radio friendly this may sound at times, no way would they ever spin this. I first listened to Dirty Loops than Johna's solo stuff and found they have taken jazz, pop and funk, mashed it together and made something for people who like all 3 genres of music. This is definitely not everyone's and probably most people's cup of tea.

Very tasty guitar solo at end with Steve Via.

Please forgive me if I already posted this, and anything else I may have already.
