What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Steely Dan - Pretzel Logic.png
Skunk Baxter on solo guitar, Jeff Porcaro on drums.

Perhaps my favorite of all the SD songs.

Steely Dan - The Royal Scam.png
A tribute to Bear Owsley Stanley's chemistry skills. Larry Carlton on solo guitar.

Steely Dan - Aja.png
Wayne Shorter sax, Steve Gadd drums, Timothy B. Schmit bass.

Not sure who's playing on this song ... there are like 30 musicians credited on the album.

Steely Dan - Two Against Nature.png
The talented Chris Potter on tenor saxophone.

It's difficult for me to choose which Steely Dan albums to listen to ... all of
their work is brilliant, IMO. These are from 1974, 1976, 1977 and 2000.

Shores of the Abstract Line . Hypno5e

The band name seems to get some comments. Why the “5”? Just ignore it, not important. The album might take a couple listens to fully dig. It’s not work though to get through this sprawling piece of French avantgarde-metal. If you like music that gets your synapses firing, Shores of the Abstract Line should be a treat.
