Watching the Grass Grow . Ruby Haunt

Late listening, as usual... and this captures the essence of the night perfectly. Ruby Haunt would sit somewhere between post-rock, dream pop and slowcore on this album. Listening to them is mesmerising, their songs are gorgeous and the lyrics tilt to the dark side. Just like good ancient guardian – the night.

Breaking Benjamin's Dear Agony which is possibly one of the most emotionally charged albums in the whole nu-metal genre. Vocalist Ben Burnley's anguished sound on this album is so incredibly moving.
