I remember a similar story about a performer - maybe in the Allman Brothers Band, not sure - who was unable to perform due to having been "dosed by Bear." Now - if you're about to perform in front of thousands of people ... well, never mind. I found that such dosages are best done in a quieter place.

Yeah, ol' Bear didn't have anything to do with this one. Apparently Moonie didn't even ask what they were - he's Keith Moon! - from palm of hand to gullet.... I'd say the guys in the GD were pretty used to playing dosed by Bear, though!

What a great S and the B's song to cover - is that from a new Garbage album?

Hmmmm, have to say I'm a bit conflicted about this one. On the one hand, one of my absolute fave 90s bands taking on an iconic 80s anthem is very intriguing, and I *really* want to like this.

However, a cover only really succeeds when the artist making the cover is so convincing, and takes full ownership of the original in a way that you could be fooled into thinking it's their own song. Unfortunately, I don't think that's the case here and this falls a little flat imho.
