Thanks for posting 'Modern Blues' @whirlwind
16/44 Flac > KTE Holo Spring L3 > GOTL > ZMF VC
I am a big fan of Mike Scott.
This album has several trademark Scott songs. My favourites are 'Destinies Entwined' and 'November Tale'.

@wht 88 Elmira Street has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I got to see Danny Gatton live in a club here in 1994 (I think). I brought a promotional poster for 88 Elmira Street with me and he signed it for me. Too bad he's no longer with us. Cruisin' Deuces is also fun, but I like 88 better. Redneck Jazz and Relentless also have good stuff.
@whirlwind and @Les Strat yes, thanks for posting about the Waterboys. I only have Dream Harder. "The Return of Jimi Hendrix" is a high point, "...fell lamb-like under the spell of his fabulous flashing fingers."
I need to hear what John Hiatt has been up to. The last I heard from him is Beneath This Gruff Exterior.
