Listening w/ HD600 > O2 > Teac PD-H600

After a few listening sessions with this album I've come to really like it. I'd say it's a great album. Raising Sands is produced by T Bone Burnett who uses drummer Jay Bellerose whom he also used on the late Gregg Allman's 2011 'Low country blues' album. Bellerose is noted for his distinctive drum sound due to his vintage 1940s Slingerlan Rolling Bomber drum kit. It's an absolutely really, really cool drumming sound. Here are two pictures of Bellerose with his drum kit :

Bellerose has also played on albums of such notable names as : Allen Toussaint, John Fogerty, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Diana Krall, Willie Nelson & Elton John.

Have you had a chance to listen to his new work "Carry Fire"? I've given a few listens and I'm not 100% sure about it yet but I am enjoying it. Would love to know what you think if you have had a chance to give it a listen.

well, OF COURSE it is the 1990 K-Mart Christmas edition ( limited ) of the official cassette tapes the stores were sent to play.
Obviously!
Excellent fidelity here.

Wonderful interruptions with store announcements and specials every few tracks.

Chrome spoke wheel covers, what a perfect gift idea. Then again do I instead check out the Footwear Dept. for slippers or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shoes.

For appreciating the rest of the season, there are a few more handy.
