  It would be interesting to know how Lifehouse would have sounded if it hadn't been canceled, but Who's Next is still a great album regardless of the failure of its origins. The same can't really be said for some other famous albums that came from failed projects, like Smiley Smile.

Incredible album. Throw in "Pure and Easy" written in the same time frame off "Odds and Sods," Townshend's peak as a writer.
