Wow, there's a band I haven't thought about in ages. Are they still gonig?

Haven't heard from them in a long time also.

After years of searching, I've finally found a CD copy of the first and only full-length release from the band that later became Dawes. The album is significantly faster paced than I expected, and sounds very different from the folk rock I'm used to from Dawes. At the same time, though, that more indie-focused sound is a very good compliment to what we've come to know as Dawes, and makes you wonder what would've happened to them if Blake Mills had stayed with the band.
