  Frazey Ford - Indian Ocean

I got this in the mail from Nettwerk at the radio station I work for, but I haven't given it a listen yet. How is it?

HDTracks "Venus and Mars (Deluxe Edition)" 24/96 I've been waiting on this digital album a long time and I knew once the CD re-releases were set to come out that Sir Paul would put a high res version out.

I have the original vinyl which is very nice, but this digital recording is sweet, remastered and sounding better than ever.
A few of the bonus tracks are special "Junior's Farm" and "Sally G" which is a country cut via McCartney's Nashville era.

My hands down favorite bonus cuts:  The "(Old Version) Rock Show" a lead bass driven version that is arguably better than the song that made it on the original.  McCartney's skill and speed on bass is rarely out front in any of the Beatle songs (with the exception of "Rain" and "Come Together") and almost never on a Wings album, this cut just sounds right.
The Alan Parsons fleshed out version of "Letting Go" rocks.

I've owned this album for more than 12 years & still can't put my finger on why I like it so much.  Listening to it w/HD650 and GS-1 certainly changes what I remember it sounding like.
Just love this album.
