Every now and then, I get a kick out of Wagner; it is so over the top, too much of everything that it requires a certain mood on my part to enjoy his works to the fullest.
 
I did Das Rheingold today, and with any luck (that is, if the offspring falls asleep at a reasonable hour tomorrow) my LCD-X and I will settle in with a good glass of scotch (or two, maybe!) and get started on Die Walküre.
