I'm 70 y.o. and I heartily disagree. In my opinion there has never been better new/modern music than what's available today. I'm not talking about FM radio and the garbage that is played because it's popular. I've noticed that once I got out of my comfort and started to seriously listen to some of today's music I am just blown away. I use this forum, and others, as well as Qobuz, Roon Radio, and other sources to discover new music. I'm usually surprised multiple times a day by what I discover. YMMV.
