Agreed. Today's music mostly puts me to sleep. Yawn!
I'm 70 y.o. and I heartily disagree. In my opinion there has never been better new/modern music than what's available today. I'm not talking about FM radio and the garbage that is played because it's popular. I've noticed that once I got out of my comfort and started to seriously listen to some of today's music I am just blown away. I use this forum, and others, as well as Qobuz, Roon Radio, and other sources to discover new music. I'm usually surprised multiple times a day by what I discover. YMMV. :gs1000smile:

Peter Gabriel - i:o.png
This album contains two versions of each song: a "light-side" mix and a "dark-
side" mix. In most cases, I prefer the "dark" mixes as I think they much better
spotlight Mr. Gabriel's voice. One difference is the song "Road to Joy" where
I prefer the "light" mix. Here are examples ...

New music from December 2023.
Edit: the Peter Gabriel album is cool, but the Owl Song is too laid back for my
taste, so queued up this gem just released in 24/96 resolution today by Qobuz.
