My favorite song on 'Sandinista!'. This was taken in Monterey, CA, in 1979...

I love everything I have of hers, but lately Move (11:49 PM and Suite: Escapism) and Spectrum (Rhapsody in Various Shades of Blue, and Sepia Effect), have been getting a lot of play. Also love Seeker on Alive. I posted my collection > here.have you heard the new album? I don't find it as amazing as her previous work say... Alive or Spark, but it's definitely sonic-ally-wonderland

She's also plays on The Stanley Clarke trio (Stanley Clarke, Hiromi, Lenny White) in Jazz In The Garden. On that she does a shorter version of Sicilian Blue from her Place To Be album, but I prefer the one on the Stanley Clarke Trio album.
Edit: I see I'll have to pick up that Sonicwonderland release. BTW, currently listening to Rhapsody In Various Shades of Blue (22:45) off Spectrum
Stanley Clarke fan. BTW on School Days, I really like Dancer and Desert Song, but really love the live versions of School Days and Quiet Afternoon on his I Wanna Play For You album I posted > here. Those live version is why love that album so much, and why I don't listen to "School Days" album for them. You have to listen to Stanley Clarke's School Days. I've played it thousands if not tens of thousands of times since I first bought it in 1976.
I wish the entire set was released rather than just this song from the podcast session -

Please make sure you read my Stanley Clarke post (linked in your quote of me) before pursuing that "I Wanna Play For You" CD. That full unedited (same as vinyl releases) 2-disc CD release can ONLY be had via the boxset. The standalone CD is only one disc with tracks missing, shortened, and rearranged. Unfortunately, Sony hasn't released the full CD outside the boxsetThanks, I had not seen live versions. It is now on the list
