Sometimes semi-depressing alt-rock is cool after a long week, too.

I think Pedro (David Bazan) was the first live show I saw in Seattle after moving to the region well over 20 years ago, actually- good stuff.

I gave Straight No Chaser another listen. Still not feeling it. Too slow. Too muted. That's me.

in their own way. I also dig Charles Mingus to the Nth degree, as we've covered in some detail.

I remember saying I wasn't all that into Ah Um, which I also gave another listen. Much prefer it over Monk's album.

But we all have different tastes, and I know not everyone likes everything I put up. Doesn't mean we stop the suggestions
