Touché - it was just a way of saying it was overplayed. An interesting list though, you seem to be eager on the latest stuff w/ Delp and less fan of Don't Look Back than me. Agreed, there are some bands that haven't been able to be the same without some of their musicians -IMO this is one of the cases-.
Tom was the "sound" of Boston, but Brad was the "voice". Without him, it just wasn't Boston...

Perfect analogy of what the sum of all parts means. You nailed it, but additionally, every player was a really good musician.

Things We Lost in the Fire . Low

One of the most beautiful records in my collection. Low masterfully create emotions from sparse instrumentation. They deal in the darker aspects of life. Always enticing for me as it resonates.
