Some great tracks on this album which I bought in the 1970s. I don't know how I missed it, but I read the other day that McCoy Tyner passed away a few years ago.
I saw him play a small club and was impressed not only by his muscianship but also by the fact he made a point to take a low profile and showcase some young guys playing with him. No grandstanding by Mr. Tyner, just truly a master musician and honorable person.

I didn't appreciate this one when it first came out, I think I wasn't in the mood and it didn't connect.
Re-visiting it now, it's seriously good... I totally understand the praise it's gotten.
