Continuing the bias I have had lately for posting plenty of underrated albums that I consider to be gems.

Their first three studio albums 1968 - 1970, discounting the project called
"The Basement Tapes" because Levon Helm was still working on an oil rig in
the Gulf of Mexico. Bob Dylan was also around Woodstock, NY, at this time,
and he did the cover art for the album "Music From Big Pink." These guys
had already been jamming together for some time and now they were making
it "official." And, pretty soon, they were the hottest thing since sliced bread.

Had some lagniappe time, so trying this album ... Joni's backing band is a lot
like Weather Report and she's switched from pop to jazz fusion. Interesting.
Jaco Pastorius on bass....
