A guy I used to work with in the record business back in the early 80's used to be Robert Cray's manager when he was first starting out....

Mellow feeling kind of day (chilly to warm beautiful Fall weather), so classical (got a lot to catch up on) and ECM jazz so far to "pair" with my workday haha.

This is a standout. Excellent performances, interesting material, and a downright beautiful sound (a little of a dark production, but in a good way that matches the mood of the content). I've had it for a month or so and already listened to it 3 times.

So-so on this for me. It's good, nothing wrong with it, but nothing essential either.

Something different. Interesting.

Milan Mihajlović: Memento

Hamelin has a consistently beautiful sound, and this composer is new-to-me so it was an easy purchase. Though it won't become a favorite, no regrets.

Samuil Feinberg - Piano Sonatas

Just an interesting album overall.

Peacock's bass is always fun.

Two great performers; a very organic/earthy sound to the production perfectly fits the music.
