Noble Beast by Andrew Bird

This is my 5th full listen through, and I've listened to the songs a total of nearly 100 times, and although I hate to say it, this album's missing the magic that I found in his other albums.

Mysterious Production > Swimming Hour = Armchair Apocrypha > Soldier On = Weather Systems > Fingerlings 1-3 > Noble Beast
IMO.

A brilliant album by a brilliant though criminally neglected guitarist. It has
been out of print for a long time and can be expensive on the collector market.
But it is very much worth tracking down a copy if you are a fan of electric guitar.


[size=small]Duke Ellington - Blues in Orbit[/size]

While I wouldn't go so far as to say it is Ellington's best album,
I will say that it is my favorite Ellington album.
