I checked these out yesterday when they appeared on the new music list in Qobuz and found tracks on each that I really liked. I have to say that there is a lot of great music coming from the indie / alternative sector and I'm enjoying discovering it each week.

Agreed! Probably the pandemic, and of course given my musical tastes, IMHO we've been experiencing a drought of good new music during the last eighteen months or so. The "flow" seems to be increasing especially in the indie/alternative genre.

Edited to change my first artist album selection, which fooled me with the first track and then jumped into brick wall scream metal. Not today, not my mood today, only sometimes... :)

Criminally underrated band :-

Moshfest, 2013 :-

I remember reading, I think it was when Piotr Grudziński passed away that Mariusz Duda and Piotr ( from the band Riverside) used to listen to Archive a lot, I totally get that. There aren't many bands that are as creative and constantly evolving as Archive. So much so that even an aged old hippy Metalhead like me, absolutely loves them despite my obvious bias to any band wielding a Guitar like they were Thor 🪓

I can't wait until their new Album comes out in April, I absolutely love this. Holly Martins' vocal prowess shines through like the Sun on this song :-

Forget the short version of Again, there's only one version in my life, accept no substitutes. Beautifully melancholic :-
