Fleetwood Mac's "Hypnotized"! One of my favorite songs, by any band, of all time. I'm actually not that big a fan of Fleetwood Mac, but there are a small handful of their songs I include in my favorites list. "Hypnotized" and "Tusk" are two...

For me, the past week has been spent listening to a lot of:
Parliament
Curtis Mayfield
courtesy of CD "box sets" I bought. Parliament has been fun. Previously I had a copy of "Mothership Connection" and was disappointed. That disc is in this collection, too, but I haven't listened to it yet. The other four discs have been too much fun. I'm still wading through the Curtis Mayfield CDs. Initially I was disappointed by what I heard. But I'm finding songs to like. Currently listening to "Get Down". Fine vocals by Mr. Mayfield, good funk groove I was hoping for, lots of yelling and cheering and good-time-stuff from the backing vocalists. Good stuff.

I've also spent quite a bit of time with Liquid Tension Experiment after downloading LTE 2 and LTE 3 DeLuxe. LTE 2 has a high percentage of songs I'll listen to a lot. LTE 3 is very dense, there is a ton of music in this release. One gripe I have is I wish they'd edited some of the longer songs and "diced them up". For one, I don't have many opportunities to pay full attention to fifteen minute marathons these days. Also, there are parts of those long tracks I like and parts I don't. Kind of wish they'd chopped them up so I could ignore the bad parts and listen to the good part incessently.

Got this record at my TS about a month ago. This guy had a great vocal range. Thomas covers Suspicious Minds. Alot of great songwriters on here.

You can call them what you want. I call em the Godfathers of Disco. Still love this band even after 40+ years. Listening to a modest setup consisting of KBEAR KS1 (using a XINHS balanced 2.5mm cable, connected to my ES100 via Bluetooth to my Samsung S20 smartphone, running LDAC). Fun music that makes you wanna get up and dance.
