Good day!
70s
Wings - Venus and Mars. EMI/Capital in 1975. Single: Listen to what the man said. Some heavy bass on some tracks. My first time owning a Wings on Vinyl. I do have a PM greatest hits with Wings/Solo CD though. I also found another one(Stay tuned). They were at my TS this week can you believe it? Good thing I went early or they'd be gone! Lucky. B+ condition.
70s
Cat Stevens - Greatest Hits. A&M records in 1972. All the hits. Thrift find in B-Condition. I think my third vinyl Cat Steven find.
80s
Gail Davies - The Game. 1980 at Warner Bros. Pick this up yesterday. Never heard of her before. On the back cover I saw she wrote, produced and arranged the album, except for two covers and it was Interesting to me. Supposedly she was the first female country to do this. Single Blue Heartache was a top 10 country song. Her voice reminds me of Linda Ronstadt a bit, but with her own style. It's a nice record so far. Sounds a bit folky too. Nice treat. Hope to find more of her albums.
50s
Pat Suzuki - Broadway 59 RCA Victor in 1959.
Arranged and Conducted by George Siravo. Recorded in NYC! Got a lot of three of her LPs on ebay. I discovered her earlier this year after I found one of her albums at the thrift store. I really think she should be more known. What a talented lady and should be up there with many female singers of the time.
