The Giles Martin remasters. Splendid work indeed. LCD-4 ~~~~~~~~> :)
Often the case, a highlight of the LCD-4 is their bass presentation, which clearly
shows the uber-talent of Sir Paul McCartney, one of the best bassists ever.

ps. I forgot ... Happy Birthday to Dolly Parton. An angel who walks among us.

Mingus at Antibes Atlantic Records Released in 1976. Recorded on July 13 1960. Lucky Thrift find, although no album art and only 1 disc and no 2 disc. :frowning2: I guess someone already had disc 2 and left the first one. Regardless sounds clear with very few pops. B+ condition.

Judy Garland - Judy. Capital records. Released Oct 10, 1956. Lucky Thrift find. Info below is from a website called the Judy room:
Judy's second album for Capitol was again released in conjunction with a TV special. This time, it was Judy's second TV Special shown live on April 8, 1956 on CBS-TV's "The General Electric Teather". The show ran for 30 minutes and all the songs Judy sang on this special are prepresented on this album. "Judy" peaked at #17 on Billboard's Best Selling Pop Albums chart and was in Top 40 for five weeks.

The 1989 premiere CD release contains a bonus track of "I'm Old Fashioned" recorded on 03-26-1956 was not included in the original album release until the 1989 Captiol CD release.
Arranged and conducted by Nelson Riddle. B+ condition. No scratches at all. Minty. Sounds great and Come rain or come shine sounds different than the Sinatra version. I like it. Her voice is fantastic on this LP.

The V. I. P. Soundtrack featuring music by Miklos Rozsa. MCA records. 1986 vinyl (((promotional))) release. Thrift find. I only got this cause I like the great cover picture of Liz and Richard. I never saw the movie and will now seek it out. This is classical music only and sounds great. Film was released in 1963 and did well at the box office and got mix reviews. B- Clean copy but pops here and there. Wanna frame this.
